Ms. Vega faced a long, private battle with cancer and approached her fight with this disease in the same spirit she lived her life, with strength of character and unwavering optimism.
Ms. Vega brought her bold, strong spirit to our Center every day. She was full of joy and passion for our students, graduates, and entire community, advocating for each girl to pursue a fulfilling education and life. She has touched so many hearts in her time at CCC, and her energy, thoughtfulness, and dedication will be deeply missed. We ask that you join us in keeping Ms. Vega and her family in your prayers.
