Welcome Message from the Interim Executive Director

Welcome to Cornelia Connelly Center.

Twenty-three years ago, I joined CCC as the seventh and eighth grade teacher. Today, I am humbled to serve as Interim Executive Director, carrying the stories of more than 400 students and graduates in my heart. Each of these stories affirms what I have always known to be true: each girl who walks through the doors at 220 East 4th Street is full of promise, uniquely gifted, created with purpose, and called to make a difference in our world.

Some of you may recall that I first stepped into leadership during a challenging time, following the passing of one of our school’s beloved founders, Ms. Connie Bush, in 2012. Since then, I have done my best to serve CCC with faith, joy, and unwavering commitment. As a longstanding CCC community member, I have answered the call to serve and to lead, and I will continue to “Lead with Love,” just as I always have.

Each day, I am inspired by the character strengths that shine through our students, families, and staff—perseverance, curiosity, self-control, optimism, gratitude, compassion, composure, and zeal. These qualities sustain our community and reflect the deep spirit of faith, integrity, and love that has defined CCC since its founding.

Our bold mission continues because we know the strength, the voice, and the promise that is already within every girl. This promise calls me to lead with love and to serve alongside our extraordinary community of faculty, staff, Board of Trustees, CCC families, alumnae, donors, and friends. Together, we ensure that CCC remains a place where every student is seen, celebrated, and deeply valued.
