Parents

Our parents and guardians are enthusiastic partners in the education of their daughters. Every effort is made to fully incorporate students’ families into the life of the Center.

• The Parent Association meets regularly to plan its active involvement in the life of the school.

• Workshops are held for parents addressing such issues as adolescent health, legal services, computers and Internet use.

• Parents are invited to all special events held at the Center and often attend holiday celebrations and arts presentations.

• A bi-monthly newsletter, Family Chat, is published in Spanish as well as English to update parents on school events and highlight student achievements.

• Parents are required to meet with teachers about their child's progress throughout the year. They also receive a comprehensive portfolio with each report card including writing samples and skills checklists.
