Camp Holy Child

Every summer returning 6th, 7th and 8th grade CMS students venture north to Lake Placid for three weeks at Camp Holy Child.  Generously sponsored by the Reiss Family and the Julian Reiss Foundation, CHC combines traditional camp activities with a continuation of academic work.  Camp is usually the first time away from home and the first time in a non-urban setting for most of our students.  Camp staff is composed of CMS graduates, who serve as camp counselors, and CMS teaching and support staff, who teach academic classes and oversee camp operations.
