Graduate Support Program (GSP)

Students work hard to gain admittance to good high schools, to excel there,
to graduate and go on to college – most as the first in their families to do so. Through our Graduate Support Program, we help our alumnae succeed in
high school and beyond. The continuity provided by the program has proved critical to girls’ ability to stay the course and in 2003, we had the great joy of seeing our first class of middle school alumnae graduate from college.

Important features of the GSP include:

• Availability of all resources of the Center, including computers with high-speed access to the Internet for research
  
  
• Total of $90,000 in financial aid to students in high school, leveraged to academic effort and participation in the GSP
  
  
• One-on-one tutoring by the GSP Director, teachers and volunteers
  
  
• Free SAT Prep courses
  
  
• Escorted visits to college campuses
  
  
• Guidance in college applications and financial aid packages
  
  
• Social support and assistance in finding jobs

Currently, 98% of our students are expected to complete high school in four years and 86% of high school graduates are working towards a college degree.
